Max Rhodes, online editor in chief

Max Rhodes is a third year staffer and a second year online editor. This is his first year as the online editor in chief, and along with his faithful comrade Laszlo, the dynamic duo devotes their time to keeping the website updated with a surplus of fresh content. Apart from the website, Max enjoys writing his travel blog, “Rhodes Traveled”. These blogs have garnered the attention of various organizations and earned awards such as the Gold Star from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. He has written a few other stories, none of which are really worthy of note. He is currently the only third year staff member and stands at 6’2″.

One way to restore American pride, South Bend, Ind., mayor Pete Buttigieg said, would be to unite under a common cause, the way Americans united together during the race to the moon in the late 1960s when, he said, “We were working together on something hard. America’s best moments have consisted of us summoning that.” He said he wants to turn American attitudes toward climate change away from feelings of fear and guilt to a feeling of pride by starting a national project to solve it as a nation. “People need to know how they fit in,” he said mentioning American farmers specifically as players in the national initiative to reverse climate change. “Not only are we not going to harm them. We need them.”
