Josie Mullan, co-web managing editor

Josie Mullan is a senior at McCallum and the co-web managing editor of The Shield. She enjoys photography and is primarily interested in photographing volleyball and football. She is excited to start off the year covering Taco Shack, and to continue writing personal features and opinion pieces. As a previous member of the staff, Josie is also looking forward to meeting all the new faces joining staff and getting the opportunity to work with them. Aside from newspaper, Josie is also involved with the PALS program at McCallum. Outside of school, Josie enjoys traveling, thrifting, baking, hiking, as well as listening to music.

The College Board has massively expanded its AP offerings the past few decades. Almost 80% of high schoolers attend a school that offers five or more AP courses. To broaden it's AP program, College Board targeted low income schools and students with the promises of college credit earned in public high school.
