Freshman Wren Vanderford is in digital media and has dedicated time to photographing and writing about sporting events such as volleyball, and football, along with various band events and competitions. She’s excited to learn more about Mac Journalism and photography. She is looking forward to being involved in many school events through photojournalism, and following in her sister's footsteps documenting the Mac Band. Wren also has a love for creative writing, frequently writes poetry, and won a writing award with the Austin Community College’s Vision and Voice writing competition in 2023.
