Julian Magee is a junior and a first year on the Shield staff. When his face isn’t glued to a screen playing video games, you might find him composing music or playing piano. Some of his favorite artists are Tyler, the Creator, Claude Debussy, The Bird and the Bee, and Kanye West, although the list changes every other week. Magee is currently a choral major at McCallum. He’s participated in two of McCallum’s musicals as an ensemble member, Jekyll & Hyde and Grand Hotel. During COVID, he has been doing absolutely nothing of substance, which is just how he likes it. He hopes to have a great year of working alongside his peers while looking for some direction towards what his future holds.

He describes their style as complicated. “We’re kind of all over the place, but I would say blues or southern rock with some serious country and psychedelic influences,” Frazier said.
