Mac photographers make lasting impression in ATPI Fall Contest
In a competition that elicited 4,700 entries from 100 schools across the nation, world, McCallum image makers capture a dozen awards
McCallum photojournalists earned 12 awards in the 2022 Association of Texas Photography Instructors Fall Contest.
The ATPI fall contest elicits stiff competition, more than 4,700 entries in the 28 award categories from 100 schools. The entries came not only from student photographers in Texas but also from California, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oregon and Guam.
Junior Gergő Major earned four of the McCallum awards, two for individual images and two for five-image portfolios.
All of the winners as well as their honored images are included below as this week’s Tuesday Top 10 photo essay. Technically, it’s two top 10s because there were a total of 20 images that were selected as winners, 10 individual images and two five-image portfolios.
