Kelsey Tasch is a junior and has been a part of the MacJournalism family for two years now. She is an assistant editor this year and proud to be a part of the staff. She discovered her interest in writing about politics and feature pieces through newspaper. Kelsey would like to thank Mr. Winter, the editors, Sophie and Zoë, and the rest of the staff for their hard work and dedication to making each issue happen.

Every year, Ms. Juana Gun encourages students to walk the Viva la Vida parade route down Congress Avenue. Students meet at school early in the morning, and art students come and decorate students’ faces and they dress up in costumes. “The experience of walking in the parade was amazing,” Hynes said. “There were so many great performers, and I was so glad to help celebrate a huge part of a culture.”
