Freshman Kaylee Breecker puts copies of The Shield on the “Louis” stool of a One Direction-themed game in her photojournalism class. Right before the game, the class had gone over various newspaper layouts, and now it was time to be tested. The newspaper adviser, David Winter, would call out one or more types of layouts as well as a One Direction member’s name, and each team would race to one of the five stools spread throughout the room. Before the game, Breecker’s team developed a strategy. “After the lesson we got into the game where he described that there was five stools with the One Direction members placed on it around the room,” she said. “Before the game started each person on our team found one or two layouts so we had it when he called it out and then we would run to the stool so we could get it first.”
