With a guest director leading the way, the theater presented “Harlequinade,” its second production of the year in the black box theater.
The one-act play featured the story of a professional theater company presenting “Romeo and Julliet” and the comical struggles it faced.
“The audience had a great reaction to the show,” sophomore Abi Trent said. “There were a lot of laughs.”
While Technical theater teacher Becky White designed the set for “Harlequinade,” the guest director was from outside McCallum. Trent said the guest director gave the play something.
“The guest director gave the play some new blood,” she said. “It was really fun and we had a really great time.”
