The host Lady Knights routed the visiting Travis Lady Rebels last Tuesday as all three McCallum teams emerged with decisive victories.
After dropping their first set 25-21, the varsity Lady Knights swept the next three sets to take the best-of-five match, 3-1. McCallum roared back in the second set, winning it, 25-9. The third set also quickly went to the home team, by a final score of 25-16. The Lady Knights finished off Rebels in the fourth game by a final score of 25-18. Andrea Janss ended the match with 14 kills and three blocks; Lauren Freng contributed 17 assists while Elliana Oyuela led the Knights with 17 digs.
The McCallum JV team swept the Rebels in two straight sets, winning 25-15 and 25-17, and the freshman team set the tone for a successful night by sweeping Travis to win the best-of-three series, two sets to none.
