Today’s sample in a jar was the popular Ben and Jerry’s flavor, Phish Food. This ice cream was a delicious combination little tiny bits of fudge, shaped like fish with swirls of marshmallow and caramel, all in a pint of chocolate ice cream. The moment I got to taste a spoonful, the flavor and texture carried me away to a fantasy world. The texture combined with the rich flavor made the ice cream somehow smooth, like velvet. The marshmallow and caramel reminded me of a turtle in the clouds. Needless to say, I felt taken away by the excellence of this pint, and would definitely buy it again. Overall, I would rate this Ice Cream a solid 9/10 for the appearance, and a 9.5/10 for flavor. It conforms in reference to the appearance of band it is named after, Phish; however, I do feel like the flavor could maybe use a tone of vanilla, to help contrast the flavor of the chocolate.

The Phish Food is tasty but the white part is not gooey marshmallow swirl.
It has no taste of marshmallow, and I think its just white coloring to look like marshmallow.
Real marshmallow tastes like marshmallow!
