Freshman Henry Sandlin was a perfect 3-for-3 with a double and five runs batted in as the Knights cruised to a 19-1 run-rule victory in Game 1 at LBJ.

JV2 road warriors takes no prisoners in 19-1 annihilation of LBJ

With a combination of shutdown pitching and relentless hitting, the JV2 baseball team run-ruled LBJ in three innings on Tuesday, 19-0.

Henry Sandlin went 3-for-3 with 5 RBI’s and a double. Jaxon Rosales drove in four and scored twice. Julian Valle-Soliz, Tino Rodriguez, Cal Dunham and Jackson Cox crossed the plate twice in the game.  Braeden Roeder and Sandlin both scored three runs, and Rosales, Dunham and Valle-Soliz stole bases.

Valle-Soliz also pitched a no hitter, allowing no runs, striking out five and walking none.

“We played our game at our level not down to theirs,” he said.

Rosales added: “We worked hard and played hard the entire game.”
