Postcards from the nation’s capital
Today marked the start of the 2020 NSPA/JEA Fall National High School Journalism Convention. Because of the pandemic, the convention is virtual. Three MacJournalism staff members–two from newspaper and one from yearbook–are attending the virtual version of the convention that would have been in Orlando had it not been for the pandemic.
It was almost exactly one year ago today that a much larger group of MacJournalists, 11 to be exact, departed from Austin for the nation’s capital for the 2019 NSPA/JEA Fall National High School Journalism Convention.
In a special Throwback Thursday post, we take a longing look back at what the convention is like in the absence of a pandemic.
