The Shield Online

Elisha Scott
Sophomore Elisha Scott is a second year staffer for The Shield. This is her first year on the editorial staff as people editor. Scott moved to Austin from Fort Worth, TX right before her freshman year in fall of 2018. She has a passion for writing and photography and she’s currently taking commercial photography to help improve her skills. Her favorite pieces to write are the new teacher exposés at the beginning of the year and she enjoys photographing rallies, tennis, and spirited Mac events. Elisha loves art, science, her friends & family, pets, and traveling, as well. She’s also on the tennis team where she enjoys hanging out and practicing with her friends everyday. She loves the Texas Longhorns (Hook ‘em) where her sisters attend(ed). She can’t wait to continue on the staff for the next 3 years and learn what it takes to be a journalist under the guidance of Mr. Winter and her fellow staff.
