McCallum celebrated the “Thirteenth De Mayo” during eighth period on Friday with singing, dancing and samba music. The event included performances starring Nicole Reyes, the Samba Knights, the Ollimpaxqui Ballet and Flamenco Company, students from Brentwood elementary, and more McCallum Ballet Folklorio performers. Ethan Rodriguez (king), Kaya Asazu (queen), Brandon Valdez (prince), Jalia Chrenshaw (princess), Sacco Fernandez (duke) and Victoria Garcia (duchess) were crowned as members of the 2015-2016 Royal Court.
